Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi - Soul Stew Revival 6/15/07
Only 4 days until I see Derek Trucks in Victoria. The next day I hop on a ferry and head back to Vancouver, where I’ll see him again. Two days, two Derek shows. Sadly they’re not part of the Soul Stew Revival tour (like the MP3s below) - it’s “just” regular old Derek Trucks Band shows. But I’m optimistic that Susan will make an appearance or two - she played the Vancouver Folk Festival last year, so maybe she remembers how beautiful it is out here.
Also, if I time my ferry trip right, I could wind up on the same boat as the DTB. I can’t see them flying from Vic to Van (though I guess it’s possible). I’m not much of a celebrity-stalker, but I’d sure like to shake Dereks hand and tell him how much I appreciate what he does.
BTW if you happen to be going to the Van show, I’ll be the moron near first in line @ the Commodore, and then in the front row for the duration of the show.

To shake hand with a celebrity does not instantly mean that you are a celebrity-stalker. It only shows that you want their performance being a celebrity.
In concert or in show, you can not feel being there if you are not in the front row. So, find way to be in the front, theres nothing wrong with that. In fact, you will enjoy the show at it is.
