I almost forgot (short term memory issues anyone?) - fellow Vancouverite (and pothead, and Hip-fan) Uncle Weed has a very cool podcast of the Tragically Hip at an exclusive show at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom. Which I very much wanted to attend, but getting Hip tickets in Canada is akin to getting Springsteen tickets in New Jersey.

If you get bored this weekend (Sat, Dec 9th and Sun, Dec 10th), you can listen to or watch the KROQ Acoustic Christmas. Guests will include Wolfmother, Foo Fighters (both nights), and The Raconteurs (among others).
